About time for new technology in range finders…
If you like to have state of the art toys, this range finder is it. not really fair to just call it a “range finder” though, b/c these gps untis are so much more these days. I like how it has the touch and drag function like my iPhone- to use for actual pin placements.
Easy to see in the sunlight b/c its bright. I really like the GIR tracking. I expected to have problems with the battery charging b/c the screen is bright, but I haven’t had the problem. I have a laser range finder as well, but it doesn’t come out of my bag anymore. It costs a few bucks, but it’s taken more strokes off my round than my new R9 driver…

Best on market
The OnPar GPS unit is by far the best product on the market. It is like an Apple I phone meets a golf GPS unit. Graphics are clear and crisp and stats are great to judge you game by. When I bought mine there were plenty of courses mapped and ones I requested came in about 2 weeks later so it looks like they have solved the lack of maps issue. I would not own any other unit that the OnPar.

Has the best features, assuming your course is mapped
Make sure you check the courses that are mapped on the OnPar website before you buy this item. You can check on the OnPar website before you buy to see if your course is mapped or you have to request that it is mapped, which can take some time……in my case 2 mos. I would go to three stars for mapped courses, although the touch screen causes it to go into futility loops and crashes if you keep it in your pocket.

Saved mileage and traffic snarls already!
Finally bought a GPS unit. We recently relocated and have spent considerable time getting lost and found. Now, with our new Garmin nuvi 760, we relax and even trust new, unknown to us, directions and find new, shorter and less traffic routes. The unit was very intuitive to set up and use which allowed us to use it first trip out. The screen is easy to read and allows quick reference for next turn in ample time to allow correct lane selection for turn. Direction audio is clear and frequent with its instructions. Audio can be heard through the unit’s internal speakers or through the car stereo speakers. Free map update was included in the price to bring maps current. I am looking forward to using the hands free Bluetooth capability since our state will be banning hand held communication devices. Great Value for the dollar! AND fun to use!

Good product
Overall this is a good product. My only complaints are that it sometimes takes a while to locate the satellites, and that the maps that come installed on it are outdated. I tried to download the “free upgrade” online for the maps, but it says I already upgraded so I’m stuck with old maps. Otherwise, it does what it’s supposed to and gets me where I need to go.

GREAT PRODUCT
My first GPS and I love it! Works great and so far I have no problem. It did bring me to a dead end once but that was because the area was under construction.

I love how fast it can recalculate routes.

I was able to go online to download customizable cars, Red Light Cameras Location, School Zone Locations, and Speeds Cameras Locations. Very easy to install. Go to the Garmin website and go the POI sections and download the files, connect your Garmin to the computer through the USB that was provided and drag the downloaded POI files into the Garmin’s POI folder.

Language:
This GPS has Cantonese as well as Mandarin which was pretty neat. It also included many other languages. For you Vietnamese speakers out there, it did not have Vietnamese.
I preferred the English accents. =)

Visual: Text were big and easy to read. Map is easy on the eyes and navigating through the menus were so simple.

Sound: Crisp and clear

Handsfree Bluetooth: There was a bit of crackling but other than that it sounded great, easy to use and set up. Works great with the iphone.

FM- Transmitter: Not so great because the sound was very low. I didn’t mind cause i thought it was already loud enough without using the car speakers.

RoC Retinol – Ehh…
I tried this product as an anti-ager. Haven’t used it long enough to see much difference, altho retinols are supposed to — over time — help build collagen. It is non-irritating, but my problem with it is the base in which the active ingredients are carried. It is a pretty dry base and it does not spread very well. In order to get enough of the product to cover your face, you end up using quite a bit each time. This makes the product ultimately more expensive than others. Next time I will probably go with the Neutrogena retinol product, unless I find this one at a really good sale price.

Helped Clear My Acne
I read about this product in a popular skin care book. I didn’t think it would work but decided due to the price I’d give it a try. I have mildly oily, acne prone, sensitive skin . . .at least until I started using this each evening! Now I can stay bump free! It is a little drying so I just follow it with a moisturizer! All worth it to not have to worry about the red bumps!

LOVE THIS CAM
I love this cam so much that I set up a fan site with the hope that we’ll get tons of beautiful Zi6 videos… I just love what this camera can do in such a small package. I picked mine up at target for $[...] this week, but it’s amazing at $[...] too.

So, I already have a DV Cam – panasonic 3ccd GS-120.. which I love.. really do, color reproduction is great, love the cam.. but I found that I wasn’t taking as much video of the kids in recent months because the cam just wasn’t convenient to carry around. I stopped taking it to Disney World, never had it with me, etc. Now, with this cam, it’s always in my pocket (I wear a lot of cargo shorts, so i have one pocket for the zi6, one for the canon sd1100is still cam (for photos). Get this camera folks, you won’t be sorry. Looks like a 2gb card will record about 28 min of 30fps video.. so I’m planning on swapping in an 8gb card I have from the still cam.

So, if you want, come visit the site! Hope it helps you make a decision on the cam, I expect it will, once you see what it can do.

Solid HD alternative to a full blown camcorder
While I already own a HDV camera, I have found that it’s not always practical for personal use because of its size. If I wear shorts with cargo pockets, I can fit it into a pocket if I really want to, but it’s still bulky and heavy for casual use like on vacation. After looking at the Kodak Zi6, the Flip and another “pocket video camera”, I settled on the Kodak and have been pretty happy with in thus far.

The main factors that sold me were the price (it’s cheaper than the other models), the reviews of its picture quality (it’s been rated better than the others), and its use of SD cards for memory instead of built-in (I like the fact I can use up to a 32GB card and switch out if I need to record more). My Kodak still camera came with a long-lasting rechargeable lithium battery and the Zi6 comes with rechargeable AAs instead, which is good in a way as you can use standard AAs in a pinch.

My only complaint is that I use a Mac Book Pro and I cannot plug into the USB port with the power supply connected because the USB connector comes out at a right angle to the camera, which then blocks the power supply connection. Right now I have to unplug the computer to hook up the camera, but I’ve ordered a cheap USB hub to see if that will help and it may not be a factor for other computers depending on where their USB ports are located.

Kodak Zi6 HD
Considering the price is a good bargain
The only downside is the available memory and if you don’t have at least a 4G SD card it will became useless.

A valued night sky companion
I have had my Skymaster 15×70 for about a year and a half now, and I continue to be extremely pleased.

I’m a big fan of binocular stargazing in general. Binoculars are portable, intuitive to use, and easy to set up. Even at low magnification, they allow you to see more than your naked eye can reveal, and some objects are better seen with a wide field of view anyway.

In that regard, I find the Skymaster 15×70 an excellent choice. The 70mm objectives collect enough light to make the Andromeda galaxy and the Orion nebula crystal clear, even among the backyard lights of town. The magnification is just right: strong enough to reveal lunar craters, but not so strong that the natural jitters of holding the binoculars in your hand become distracting. The field of view is about 4.4 degrees, easily enough to contain the entire Pleiades cluster or the full moon. I appreciate the simplicity of the center focus knob, and I find viewing is comfortable either with or without my eyeglasses.

Other reviewers have remarked on the weight, and there’s no denying that it’s a little exhausting to hold the binoculars for long periods. However, I don’t find them much more difficult to hold than my 7×30 birding glasses — the size of the binoculars is less of a factor than you might expect. The included tripod adapter can help relieve this problem, but the solution is only as good as the quality of your tripod, and most of the time I’d rather sacrifice some stability to avoid the hassle of using a mount.

Like some others reviewers, I did experience collimation problems and had to return the first item I received. The left and right images were very badly out of alignment, and there’s no mechanism for correcting it yourself. Your only choice is to exchange it, and Amazon handled the exchange easily and quickly.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. It’s very good quality for the price.

Excellent binoculars for the price
I’m impressed with these binoculars. For $70 plus shipping, you get to see a lot. I could see the top of Mount Mansfield in Vermont and I live about 10 miles away from the mountain.

I finally was able to see a strange item on top of a nearby mountain that have perplexed me for years. To my surprise it was a house – a gigantic house and I’m amazed someone would build one that high up considering it’ll be difficult to commute up the hill there during winter.

I could see stars so clear. Haven’t seen the moon yet.

You get pretty much everything you need in this order; binoculars, covers, a bag, a leash, a lens cleaner, instructions, and the tripod adapter. I would recommend buying a nicer binocular bag for more protection as the bag that comes with the package is quite flimsy.

Overall highly recommended.

a very good value
This was my first binocular purchase. I bought it for astronomy. Pros: good value–it works great and was cheap. I did not have any alignment issues that some others have had. Excellent for use in looking at birds in backyard with kids. Gives excellent views of the night sky, even with the narrow field of vision. Cons: the 15x is both a pro and a con–it makes things closer but the field of view is quite narrow, and you need a very stable platform for night viewing. The included tripod attachment is not good–the plastic twists too easily and the view wobbles way too much; I am buying a metal adapter to replace it. Although I bought it for night use, I think a 10x Nikon might have been better for that use; however, for backyard fun with the kids (birdwatching etc), I do like the extra mag.

Highly recommended….a must own. The nature series of the decade. Narrated by David Attenborough. Picture quality will knock your socks off on a properly set up video system. My only complaint is that the behind the scenes “making of” footage is not included in this version.

This came really fast and it fit the description. I would recommend buying from this company.

Good but not Great
The DVDs were new. My single complaint is that the clear plastic centers that hold the DVDs into the case are all crushed. So, the DVDs do not stay in place within the case. I fear that the DVDs will be scratched or dropped when the case is openned.

Very greasy
OK I love the fact that it is all natural with no bad things in it but it is soooooooooo greasy and even after you bathe/shower it seems to linger on your skin. It worked well at providing sun protection but I don’t know if I can get past the terrible feeling it leaves on my skin.

Worth every penny!
I have a 2 year old that we use this on, we have been using it on her since she was 6 months old. It is the only sunblock my husband and I have found that does not burn her eyes. My husband even put some straight in his eye to see if it burned or stung, he said it doesn’t. Our water play is so much more fun since we started using Soleo. My daughter doesn’t have red eyes after water play any more! It seams expensive but a bottle lasts a long time you don’t need to use as much as normal sunblocks.

Safe & Great Under My Makeup
I love this sunscreen and it is worth every penny. No bad smells and safer than most sunscreens out there. I use it everyday and it works well under my mineral makeup. It is a little thick but still I can get it spread without the white residue. Love it!

Benjamin Button……..
I never did see this in the theater but I saw it came out on DVD so I decided to give it a shot.
I knew the movie was about some guy that was born old and got younger but beyond that I wasn’t sure what else this movie was about.
It turns out, that is exactly what the movie is about. Nothing more, nothing less.
It sounds like an interesting but somewhat boring premise for a movie.
What makes movies like this great are….
Likeable characters with interesting stories.
See, there are a lot of movies that have a great premise but they fail to deliver on the story telling side.
“Button” has a simple premise and a wonderful story.
“Button” from the first frame till the last was an absolute joy to watch.
Brad Pitt put in the performance of a life time.
All the other actors in the movie were just as good.
I’m finding it difficult to review this movie.
I don’t want to tell you what any of the story is about.
I don’t want to ruin it for anybody.
I’ll sum it all up like this;
Wonderful, breath taking story.
Gorgeous direction.
Brilliant acting.
Very few films reach the quality of “A Beautiful Mind” or movies of that kind.
But “Button” does and is one of the best films I have seen in a VERY long time.
A lot of life lessons to be found in this movie.
I usually write my likes and dislikes about movies but with “Button” there was nothing that I disliked.
Yes, it really is THAT good.
It’s a movie that will stick with you and really make you think about life and the aging process in general.
After I watched this the first time I though the underlying message was about Alzheimer’s disease.
After a few more viewings I think the message is a lot more simple.
It’s just a very powerful statement about growing old in general, just told from a very unique perspective.

I think the one thing that has stuck with me the most is one quote from the movie.

“You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went”
“You can swear and curse the fates”
“But when you get to the end, you have to let go”

Why is this of significance to me?
I guess we all have regrets, but is it worth holding onto these things forever?

One of the best movies Hollywood has given us in many years.

Classic!
By far the greatest movie Ive seen in the 2000′s. I cannot think of a film that is near as great as Benjamin Button. A true classic that everyone must see atleast once in thier lifetime! The movie just gets greater as it goes on. Something rare these days. Please enjoy! One of the greatest films ever made.

What is says about life and death
I loved this movie and it stayed with me for a long time; finally bought it. It has a lot to say about life and how temporary things are. It is in stages humorous, as in Benjamin’s early days, gentle, sad, and ultimately very thought provoking. I don’t think Brad Pitt got enought credit for his acting in this and the movie was overshadowed by Slumdog Millionaire, but it is definitely worth spending the time to watch it.
